BASC Compliance & Security Policy – FRUTANA®️

FRUTANA®️ operates in full compliance with the standards and principles of the Business Alliance for Secure Commerce (BASC), ensuring the integrity, security, and legality of all export operations.

1. Commitment to BASC Standards

FRUTANA®️ is committed to maintaining a secure international supply chain by implementing BASC security management practices, including:

Risk prevention in logistics and export operations.
Protection against contamination of cargo.
Secure handling, storage, and transportation processes.
Continuous monitoring and improvement of security controls.

2. Zero-Tolerance Policy

FRUTANA®️ enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking, smuggling of illegal substances, money laundering, and any unlawful activity. Any violation will result in immediate termination of the commercial relationship and reporting to authorities.

3. Supply Chain Security

All suppliers and partners must comply with BASC standards, ensuring product integrity from farm to container and preventing unauthorized access. FRUTANA®️ reserves the right to audit or terminate any supplier that does not meet these standards.

4. Container Security (Critical Control)

FRUTANA®️ applies strict inspection and sealing procedures. However, as port operations and terminals are managed by third parties, FRUTANA®️ shall not be responsible for any tampering or contamination occurring after container handover.

5. Client & Financial Compliance

FRUTANA®️ reserves the right to verify clients and sources of funds. We may request documentation, refuse high-risk transactions, and report suspicious activities to relevant authorities.

6. Reporting & Cooperation

FRUTANA®️ fully cooperates with customs authorities, anti-narcotics agencies, and international compliance organizations. Any suspicious activity will be investigated and reported.

7. Responsibility Disclaimer

FRUTANA®️ shall not be held liable for illegal acts committed by third parties (port personnel, transport operators, shipping lines). Responsibility is transferred according to agreed Incoterms and operational control.
